This trail has just officially been approved by the Minneapolis Park Board at and official activity. This means, mountain biking is treated just like baseball, soccer, and other similar activities.....so this is totally killer. The trail itself is a very good flowing singletrack. It's considered an intermediate trail with a few more advanced features here and there, with bypasses. In 2006, we plan to build an expert section and a few more miles of singletrack. This trail is about 5 minutes out of downtown Minneapolis and is in a very nicely wooded area. When you are riding there, you would never guess you are in a big urban area.....that's pretty darn cool if you ask me.
